I'm relatively new to in-depth NGS experimentation, but am highly experienced in nucleic acid work, focusing mainly on PCR applications (qPCR, RT-qPCR, dPCR, ddPCR, RT-dPCR). I'm currently working on NGS library generation protocols and am getting to grips with the multitude of NGS options from library prep kits and adapters to sequencing platforms and bioinformatics. I look forward to tapping into the wealth of knowledge here and to hopefully gaining enough experience to offer valuable advice myself!

The field of epigenetics has traditionally concentrated more on DNA and how changes like methylation and phosphorylation of histones impact gene expression and regulation. However, our increased understanding of RNA modifications and their importance in cellular processes has led to a rise in epitranscriptomics research. “Epitranscriptomics brings together the concepts of epigenetics and gene expression,” explained Adrien Leger, PhD, Principal Research Scientist...-
