Hello,
I work in a french academic lab, in a bioinformatic service.
Our job consists to help research teams to explore and analyse their sequence data (genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics of various plants).
For some months, we analyse 454 and illumina reads : mapping of RNA or genomic sequence if genome is available and de novo assembly if not.
We are lucky enough to have access to a very good cluster !
