Keywords: RNA-Seq, Perl, R, Gene Ontology
Salary: £29,750 to £37,525 per annum depending on experience
We are seeking to appoint a Senior Bioinformatician to undertake analysis of a molecular phenotyping project using mice generated by the Mouse Genetics Project (MGP). As part of the new Deciphering the Mechanisms of Developmental Disorders (DMDD) project we intend to implement a high-throughput mouse transcriptome profiling pipeline to run in parallel with a similar pipeline established in the Zebrafish Mutation Project (ZMP). We would like to recruit an individual to develop the sample and data tracking system within the Mouse Informatics Group, process the sequence-based transcriptome profile data and develop analysis systems to exploit the transcript profiles using Gene Ontology to identify protein networks and pathways.
