hi ... iam working in next generation sequencing for my PhD...but when i search for post doc positions in research related to next generation sequencing most of the vacancies are for only bioinformatics......and are asking for perl , R etc...but with the working knowledge in linux i think it will be possible to work with all the assembly and alignment tools for next generation sequencing ....can some one give me the sugesstions regarding the job opportunities for non computer students in next generation sequencing...
