The ANU's genomic strategies and expertise has positioned it as a key partner in a number of national and international genomics / phenomics research consortia. The ANU is underpinning this excellence in genomic biology by establishing a Genome Discovery Unit (GDU) for the analysis of high throughput sequencing data. The facility will be staffed by highly skilled personnel who will provide the core expertise for constructing and operating a high performance computing environment and providing bioinformatic analysis to serve the needs of projects employing second generation sequencing.
We are seeking a software developer to work closely with bioinformaticians and other members of the GDU, to develop and implement software to process data for specific DNA sequencing applications including data transfer and management. The Software Developer will provide autonomous technical oversight to key areas of pipeline development.
Salary Range: AUD$77,296 - $82, 857
