    The Latin America Sales Manager, is a newly established role. You will lead and grow the business in Central and South America – from Mexico through Brazil, Argentina, and Chile. You are to make a difference in the area of our sales, consulting, and support organization in an active collaboration with your colleagues around the world. You will report to the Director of Business, Americas, located in Boston, MA, USA.

    Main responsibilities
    • Develop and grow the use of CLC bio’s solutions in Latin America
    • Coach and supervise our resellers
    • Build strong working relationships with external as well as internal stakeholders
    • Lead and manage activities to ensure achievement of sales objectives for the region
    • Provide accurate forecasting and reports on sales opportunities and market trends.

    Requirements
    • 5 years of direct sales experience in Brazil and other Latin American markets
    • IT, Life Science, and/or business background.
    • Preferably a PhD and/or MBA degree
    • Experience working in a truly global company
    • Demonstrated success with complex sales
    • Clear advantage to have experience with software sales
    • Advantage to have knowledge of the life science industry and next generation sequencing bioinformatics market
    • Excellent communication skills, high level of motivation, enthusiastic attitude, and solid work ethics
    • Effective communicator in the Spanish, Portuguese and English.
