In this role will perform senior level SAP SD (Sales & Distribution) functional & technical duties (including configuration and program development) in support of the delivery of advanced business system design, analysis and programming products on schedule and in accordance with Continental requirements and department standards and policies. Works as member of the global IT team with all areas of SD to resolve process, operational and technical issues.
Responsibilities:
Analyzes business processes, functions, and procedures to determine the most effective business systems software to meet the needs of the organization. Establishes systems specifications and objectives, based on business requirements and cost effectiveness, and provides recommendations to management. Collaborates with others in systems development and design, including software programming and table, report, and panel design. Develops test plans and coordinates and performs software testing.
Position Requirements:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent in Computer Engineering or a related field (Will accept bachelor’s degree + 5 years of experience as equivalent)
• At least 3 years in position offered or as IT position involving SAP SD
• Analysis, design, implementation and support for SAP SD modules (Credit Management, Pricing, Taxes, ATP, Deliveries, contact person master, customer master, foreign trade/customs)
• Integration with Finance & Material Management SAP applications in bio-tech industry
• HPQC
• ASAP methodology
• LSMW
• SAP Tables
• SAP query & SAP notes
• Salesforce Integration
• Background processing
• Translating customized & complex user requirements, incl. functional specification for RICEF
• Interface & EDI
• Test planning, estimation, rest case review and documentation
• End user training
