    Comlete Genomics sequencing service

    Hi,

Although we are not taking orders yet (June 2009 is our service launch), Complete Genomics is a human sequencing service, using our own technology.

At Complete Genomics, our mission is to change the way genomics is approached today so we can change the lives of people tomorrow.

    Sincerely yours,

    Thon
    Complete Genomics

If you would, include the University of Utah Microarray Core facility in your list of Illumina GAII service providers (PE capability too). Bioinformatic analysis support is available from our Bioinformatic Core facility. See http://bioserver.hci.utah.edu for general information, http://bioserver.hci.utah.edu/BioInf...php/Sequencing for sequencing info, and http://bioserver.hci.utah.edu/BioInfo/index.php/Costs for pricing.

                    Nix:

Out of curiosity, do you take samples from other institutions or is this purely Utah only?

                    Thanks,

Yes, we take outside samples, unfortunately by law we have to charge 2x our internal pricing. Although, this is actually less than what most service companies are charging.

Our motivation is to increase the number of runs to reduce the service contract cost. Currently we have enough internal samples for 1 run a week. This leaves open a second run for external users.

If you have prepped libraries, there is essentially no wait for sequencing.
