Lexogen, a Vienna-based transcriptomics and NGS company has launched a new SENSE mRNA-Seq stranded library prep kit. Exceptional strand-specificity (>99.9%) of the protocol enables the detection and quantification of more antisense transcripts than was possible before. Moreover, the SENSE kit is a complete solution designed to generate stranded, ready-to-sequence Illumina-compatible NGS libraries from total RNA samples within just 4 hours. With the optional SENSE barcode kit, up to 12 libraries can be multiplexed without any additional steps during library preparation.
The SENSE mRNA-Seq stranded library prep kit is available as 8 rxns and 24 rxns. The 12 index barcode kit is available as 8 rxns/barcode and 24 rxns/barcode.
You can find more information about the strand-specificity of the protocol in the SENSE Application Note and about its reproducibility in the SENSE Technical Note.
Lexogen offers 20% discount until December 1st 2012 for all seqanswers users.
