Hi all,
In my assemblies I find many contigs with a strange shape. They have a solid "body" with a bunch of sequences (high coverage) and a (very) long "tail" with only (very) few sequences.
I am using 454 data and Seqman NGEN (DNAStar).
Is this a common problem? What does it mean? Thank you for any help.
