mmseq gzip error

mmseq gzip error

I'm running mmseq to calculate expression from STAR (2-pass) alignments. Mmseq completes just fine, no errors in stderr/stdout. But, it seems that the *gz files I need to run mmcollapse are somehow incomplete/malformed.

zcatting any of the resulting files give an:

invalid compressed data--crc error

error.

anyone else run into this/know the solution?
