Hello All!
I am working with some RNAseq libraries from Triticum aestivum (wheat)... But I have not been able to find a good annotation file of transcripts... I have used the GTF (and genome) file available at Ensembl (http://plants.ensembl.org/info/website/ftp/index.html) and recovered some genes names from UniProt... However, in UniProt, only ~5,000 out of ~100,000 genes have a name...
Has anybody worked with wheat before? If yes, has found a better source of annotation (gene names/function)?
Any insight will be highly appreciated.
