I've run several RNA samples on the Bioanalyzer (eukaryotic pico kit) and the ribosomal peaks look decent. There is though a peculiar, smaller peak just before the main 18S peak. Does this indicate degradation - it seems strange that all samples should have such and identical peak - or could it be to do with the kit/reagents? Thanks.
