Picard Tools vs Samtools sorting

Hi everyone, I was trying to convert a SAM file to BAM in order to sort it and then convert it again to SAM to use it to make an HTSeq count, samtools view give me a lot of trouble so i tried with picard tools and it worked, am i going to have troubles with HTSeq using the SAM files from picard tools???
