Low PCR volume and quantity...affect library prep?

Hi,

I discovered that my I lose between 1-2 micoliter of my PCR material due to evaporation. I do not know why my sample evaporate maybe because I am using only 5 microliter?

in the other hand I would later do pooling of my samples(I am using Ion torrent) which should be 20 micrliter final. Will this affect my PCR product? would this affect mu purification step and library preparation? could someone help me please?

Love this - good data definitely starts from good input, and poor input can only give relatively poor data. I particularly like the mention of Nanodrop/absorbance based methods for quantification. It's such a toss up if you'll get an accurate reading or what amounts to a randomly generated number, and a lot of library/sequencing related issues can be traced back to poor quant.
