    Help with Cosmic

Hi I am new to the forum and need help. I am trying to search for the breakpoints of common cancer translocations in Cosmic, for example the common PAX8-PPARG or RET-PTC fusions.

I have downloaded a number of their databases (Structural, Fusion, Mutant, etc) and have failed to find these common gene rerrangements listed in any of them.

I have then tried searching their web interface for something as simple as "PAX8" and these widely reported translocations do not show up in their results. The same goes for RET-PTC (a rearrangement with numerous genes such as RET-CCDC6 & RET-PRKAR1A).

Yet, when I look at Cosmic news, I can see beautiful web graphic of other gene translocations that do no interest me in the least. See link below. I simply want to find the genomic location (estimated breakpoint) of a selected group of mutant genes such as those I listed above. Can you help me figure out how to search for this information?

    Thank you so much!
