InDel finding tool

I'm making an InDel finding tool for NGS data and would like to know from the community what do you think would be the best features to include in this? And is it maybe better to make a biologist friendly version or not?
If there is interest in this I will, once finished, put the downloadable file in a new post.

Significantly more accurate performance than existing tools would be the only 'feature' I'd consider worthwhile.
