I have a number of data files all in the SGR (.sgr) file format. However, I need them to be in WIGGLE (.wig) format for some computational analysis. Can anyone instruct me on how to convert these files? Any help would be extremely appreciated!!

Change the hard coded file names to ones you want (if you are going to do this for one file). Since you have multiple files there are suggestion for modifications you can make to make the script flexible. -

Data variability is still an issue in sequencing technologies despite the advances in reproducibility and accuracy of these platforms. But the problem does not originate in the sequencing itself, but in the previous steps, before the sample reaches the sequencer.
The first step is collection, followed by preservation and sample preparation for analysis. Most scientists overlook those steps, but not being careful might just be skewing the experiment’s results.
