Hello,
I would like to know if there are any new mapping applications for paired end data designed to work on hadoop cluster. The ones that i know are CloudBurst, Crossbow and DistMap.
I know there is a similar question on SEQanswers. But that thread is 4 years old. I am hoping there will be new ones by now.
PS: I dont have a background in Bioinformatics. I am an IT student working on Hadoop infrastructure to assess its performance for an organization.
