If reverse complementary sequence will be mapped to the reference?
Hi, dear all
I am now do some analysis about small RNA-seq data. I am woundering if two reads are reverse complements for each other, when I map them to the reference(such as: mature miRNA sequence), if they will be mapped to the same reference sequence?
Here is a more vivid example:
Will read 1 and read 2 both be mapped to the reference?
