pMap software using bowtie for profiling/benchmark

Hello,

I am trying to use pMap software with bowtie for compartive genomics.

I am a HPC specialist and would like to show the use of MPI for Dna sequencing.

Any one have experience running pMap on a Linux cluster?

I've never used pMap myself and I'm not sure how well maintained it is (bowtie is rather out-dated and I don't see that they support bowtie2). If you just want to show that "alignment is faster with multiple nodes" then you can try bison.
