    GenoMax,

Thank you very much, I just tried it with vsearch and that seemed to have solved my problem!

    Thank you again,

    usearch memory problem

    Hello all,

I am currently trying to run derep_fulllength with my combined_seqs.fna file, and I'm getting this memory error:

    derepfull.cpp(34): Out of memory, mymalloc(9973772, 4), curr 8.9e+08 bytes, total 9.29e+08 (929Mb)

would anyone know a way around this besides buying the 64 bit version?

Thanks in advance for any help.

    James

CRISPR/Cas9 sparked the gene editing revolution for both research and therapeutics.1 But this system still showed severe issues that limited its applications. The most prominent were the heavy reliance on PAM sequences, delivery limitations, double-stranded breaks that prompt unintended edits and cell death, and editing inefficiency (both in targeting and in knock-in reliability).

Despite this, “CRISPR helped turn genome editing from a specialized technique into
