Does anyone have a clue how to get this program functional on the ubuntu 11.04?

All I did was download the 64bit version from here. What have you tried, what doesn't work for you? -
CAP3 unable to run on box...
It doesn't work on 11.04 ubuntu...
Have you tried it on that?
I have tried to extract it directly or un tar it...
The command isn't seen....
is their a sudo command?
I tried to ./configure, ./make and ./sudo make...
NO LUCK!!!!

The download links at the address I posted will give you pre-compiled binaries.
Here are the commands I used
You can then copy that binary to somewhere in your system path, for exampleCode:wget http://seq.cs.iastate.edu/CAP3/cap3.linux.i686_xeon64.tar tar xf cap3.linux.i686_xeon64.tar cd CAP3/ ./cap3
Code:sudo cp cap3 /usr/local/bin/
