10X Genomics - no tech support?

10X Genomics tech support is currently non-existing. Repeated contact attempts and no replies for a week. The situation is not improved by the lack of any useful information on their website ( e.g. no technical documents, manuals , ...).

    Has anybody better luck?

Interest into their technology seems to be great nevertheless - should they get their own board in the technology section.

If you have already purchased (or are still thinking about purchasing) 10x products then this would be a perfect time to go hounding the sales contact. That should produce some rapid results.

10X has both Tech Support and Field Support that are readily available. Tech Support can most easily be reached via [email protected].

Clearly we haven't done a good job of making access to tech support easy for non-customers. Can you explain how you were trying to contact tech support so I can fix whatever was keeping you from getting through?

We are new to this and do appreciate your understanding and willingness to point out when things aren't up to snuff. Please let me know of any other issues you're experiencing.

Reply to Nine Things a Sample Prep Scientist Thinks About Before Sequencing

Love this - good data definitely starts from good input, and poor input can only give relatively poor data. I particularly like the mention of Nanodrop/absorbance based methods for quantification. It's such a toss up if you'll get an accurate reading or what amounts to a randomly generated number, and a lot of library/sequencing related issues can be traced back to poor quant.

Nine Things a Sample Prep Scientist Thinks About Before Sequencing
            by SEQadmin2

I’m not a sequencing expert. I’m a purification scientist who uses NGS to evaluate workflows my group develops. With this perspective, we think about the sample first and the NGS workflow second. The sequencer is an exceptionally honest reporter, but it can only report on what you give it, so whether you get clean, interpretable data from an NGS workflow is largely determined before you begin.

Here are nine questions we think about, in roughly the order they matter, before...
