Hello,
I'm doing some 2D nanopore sequencing and I'm a bit disappointed with the number and cost of third-party products recommended in the protocols (specifically 2D Genomic DNA selecting for long reads). Does anyone know of a reasonably cheap product or method for fragmentation and size selecting 20-50kb or 100+kb gDNA fragments?
The protocol recommends Bluepippin which we don't have and the cartridges cost as much as the nanopore kit. I'd like to keep the prep and sequencing in-house.
Thanks for any advice!
