Hello All,
I'm a first year graduate student at Hopkins beggining a new project for our lab involving exome sequencing and analysis en masse. I've been reading your posts for a few months to get my current pipeline, and have finally reached the point of asking my own questions and possibly contributing some knowledge.

Thought I would take this time to welcome you and give a quick introduction myself, seeing as how I just signed up for the forums. My name is Jordan and I am a high school student just getting interested in chemistry and biology. I have heard a lot about sequencing and how it integrates in this field, so I thought I would come on here and learn a little bit.

I’m not a sequencing expert. I’m a purification scientist who uses NGS to evaluate workflows my group develops. With this perspective, we think about the sample first and the NGS workflow second.
