  • View Cross Machine Image Processing Data problem in V2.5.3

    Hi:
There is a problem in that,
My lab GSFLX maince is break down,
so we go to other lab to do paired-end experiment,
it mean the image processing is run in their machine,

    But, We finish the experiment,
we download the data including imageProcessingOnly and rawimages folder and other setting file from their to our machine,

There are a strange thing happed,
when we use the GSBrowser to review the data in well item partion,
in normal, the one circle including one square,
but, we see the square is bigger than previous expr,
    and it including many circle.
The problem is that and we go back to this lendding we machine lab,
    the figure is normal.

We resolve this problem in first is to rerun the image pipel line,
We use the original rawimages folder and retain other parameter file like dataRunParams.parseimageLog.parse ptpImage.pif runLog.parse aaLog.txt etc,
I did not sure whether need to modify this parameter file,
    and type the
    "runAnalysisPipe"
But it seem the problem is exist, and analysis time is so long than normal.

In addition, we notice it is the v2.5.3 software,
    in previous v2.3,
    the problem did not appear.

can anyone have this condition and how do i resolve it,
that the one circle have one squre??

    Best
    Andy

    Current Approaches to Protein Sequencing
    by seqadmin

Proteins are often described as the workhorses of the cell, and identifying their sequences is key to understanding their role in biological processes and disease. Currently, the most common technique used to determine protein sequences is mass spectrometry. While still a valuable tool, mass spectrometry faces several limitations and requires a highly experienced scientist familiar with the equipment to operate it. Additionally, other proteomic methods, like affinity assays, are constrained...

    Strategies for Sequencing Challenging Samples
    by seqadmin

Despite advancements in sequencing platforms and related sample preparation technologies, certain sample types continue to present significant challenges that can compromise sequencing results. Pedro Echave, Senior Manager of the Global Business Segment at Revvity, explained that the success of a sequencing experiment ultimately depends on the amount and integrity of the nucleic acid template (RNA or DNA) obtained from a sample. “The better the quality of the nucleic acid isolated...
