HiSEQ flowcells/reagents compatibility

Hi

We would like to use HiSEQ v1.5 flowcell (prepared with v2.5 cluster generation kit) with HiSEQ v3 sequencing kit (lacking v2 sequencing reagents). Anybody has tried this? With what success? Any tips?

Hi ik76,

There is a compatibility table on P9 of the latest HiSeq manual which says that it is technically possible but that Illumina doesn't support it.
