PhiX control on MiSeq targeted panels.

I'm just wondering, does it provide any substantive advantage to have PhiX control on multiplexed run, for things like Oncogene panel?
If so, how much PhiX should we spike?

Hi,

I'm not too sure about the specifics of an ocogene panel, but if it helps PhiX is useful for low complexity samples. For this you can use between 30-40% but as internal control you can use 1% per sample.
