2x100 vs 2x150 rapid mode

My plan is to use one lane for RNA-seq and the other lane for exome.

Which mode is better suited for my purpose?

Is 2x100 better because average exon size is less than 150bp and for DE analysis 2x150 is not much better than 2x100?
