    Question about Hiseq2000: problem encountered when trying to initialise the HCS

    Hi,
    I have a question about Hiseq 2000. We have encountered this problem for so many times. We have also been trying to re-power cycle the instrument. Everytime we try to initialise the HCS, it gives out an error signal "Wait for Scanner.AllInitialized. ()"failed because the following devices are not initialized: Scanner. CameraFrameGrabber.Camera2."

    Has anyone here had such an experience? could you please suggest me some ways to solve this problem?

    You need to contact Illumina tech support. Sounds like an issue with instrument hardware that none of us will be able to diagnose remotely. Would likely need a visit by the service engineer.
