    RFID reader problem-NextSeq500

Has anyone had a problem with the RFID reader with the NextSeq 500 sequencer? I believe this is the problem I am having with mine as it doesn't recognize or cannot read the flow cells when either trying to wash or run samples.

We have run into this problem twice before. Illumina recommended power cycling the instrument (close out of all programs, hold power button on the front of instrument until it completely turns off, wait 5 minutes, power back on.). This has worked on both occasions. Good luck!

This sounds like a good idea, thank you for the suggestion. I will post later if it works!
