    A C G T intensities

    Hi,
I made an Solexa experiment where the confidence level of "A" was too low. Why this happened? There is a way to avoid this?

    Thanks

Could you post one of the IVC plots? (the intensity plots you get from the Summary.htm page). Is this a GA1 or GA2?

      A C G T intensities

      Hi,
      the intensity values obtained were:

      A - 3000
      C - 4000
      G - 6000
      T - 19000

      Thanks for your interest.

Those intensities seem very weird to me. Could you post one of the plots for a bad lane e.g.: s_1_all.png

            Hi,
right now I do not have the file you ask me.
I'm talking about the values given in the first-cycle report.

            A intensity: 3,000
            C intensity: 4,000
            G intensity: 6,000
            T intensity: 19,000

hmm.. It's difficult to without the full plot but something seems very wrong to me, the T intensity should diverge so much.

16S/ITS Profiling vs. Shotgun Metagenomics: What Changes in Your Workflow?
                by SEQadmin2

NGS has revolutionized clinical microbiology by offering new ways to identify and surveil pathogens without prior knowledge of the target. One popular approach is 16S rRNA and ITS amplicon sequencing, which targets specific microbial markers. But studies are increasingly incorporating shotgun metagenomics, a technique that sequences all DNA from a sample without targeting specific microbial markers. This approach allows more detailed taxonomic classification, detection of antimicrobial...

                by SEQadmin2

Tumors contain complex mixtures of cell populations that evolve in response to treatment and host-specific factors. Tissue biopsies provide only static snapshots of a tumor’s state. But what if we could follow that evolution over time using a minimally invasive technique?

Liquid biopsies can detect tumor-derived material circulating in the bloodstream, providing a way to study treatment response, detect emerging resistance, and discover new biomarkers. Circulating
