Increase # cycles after run has started

We made a careless mistake in preparing our sample sheet for a run currently in progress. Instead of putting in 300 cycles for forward and reverse we put 150. Is there a way to increase the number of cycles on the run AFTER is has already started? We're at about cycle 60 now so time is short, but I thought I would check.

    Thanks!

Sorry but I don't think this is possible, at least not from any area that user can access. It may be possible for tech support to help but may have trouble getting to them at the weekend. However if you are using reagents form illumina current bad batch, you would have only gotten about 20bp from the read 2 anyway!!!!

I know this is too late, but I had a similar issue a while back and Tech Support told me it's not possible to change the run parameters once the MiSeq run has started.

New Genomics Technologies Take Aim at Long-Standing Limits
        by SEQadmin2

Researchers using sequencing and genomics tools often have to make trade-offs. They can choose between speed or scale, short reads or long-range information, or targeted panels or a view of the whole transcriptome. New technologies that have been released this year are built to address those tough choices.

We asked six companies the same four questions to learn about their latest products. The new technologies bring a lot to the table, including rethinking sequencing

How Immunogenomics Decodes Immunity’s Genetic Blueprint
        by SEQadmin2

The immune system’s power comes from its genetic diversity, allowing myriad threats to be neutralized through first recognizing foreign antigens. That diversity is also what makes the immune system so difficult to study. Recent advances in sequencing technology and computational biology, however, are giving researchers new tools to understand immune responses and immune-related diseases in greater detail.

This convergence of genetics, immunology, and computation...
