SNP detection with bcftools where [main] unrecognized cammand error occurs

hello friends

I am very new comer in the field of genomics and transcriptomics as well as in SEQanswers site so kindly help me to sort out the following error.

When i am giving "bcftools call -mv variation.bcf > variation250.vcf " command to bcftools that already present inside the SAMtools-0.1., it shows [main] unrecognized error while I have already set the path of bcftools.

It also give the same error with "bcftools stats variation_filter.vcf > variation_stats.vchk" command.

What should i do to solve this problem ?

samtools showing an error when i tried to create a bcf file
[bcf_sync] incorrect number of fields (0 != 5) at 0:0 [afs] 0:0.000
how to solve this? thank u
