Last fall, Sean Grimmond, founder of the Expression Genomic Laboratory at the Institute for Molecular Bioscience at the University of Queensland in Australia, received one of the first Applied Biosystems SOLiD sequencers. In May, Grimmond’s team and ABI scientists published a paper showing how they used the tool to profile stem cell transcriptomes.
