SEQanswers June Challenge: Share Your Knowledge and Win

We're excited to announce a new competition for the month of June! We're giving away a $50 Amazon gift card to the member who answers the most questions on our site during the month. We want to encourage our community members to share their knowledge and help each other out by answering questions related to sequencing technologies, genomics, and bioinformatics. The competition is open to all members of the site, and the winner will be announced at the beginning of July. We hope this competition will inspire lively discussion and collaboration within our community, and we wish everyone the best of luck!

Rules of the challenge:

• Users cannot answer questions more than a year old (posted before June 1^st, 2022). Unanswered questions or questions without correct or clear answers within the last year are available for the contest. We prefer and encourage members to answer the most recent questions first.
• The contest will officially start on Thursday, June 1^st at 00:00 h (GMT -7:00) Pacific Time and end on Saturday, July 1^st at 00:00 h (GMT -7:00) Pacific Time.
• If a question has been properly answered, it may become marked as answered and closed from further comments to prevent additional and unnecessary responses.
• The prize is only eligible to participants currently residing in a country that allows for Amazon gift cards and purchases.
• No commercial/promotional posts or using answers to promote different products or companies. If you detect this, please flag the post and our admin will handle it.
• Each response must contain a clear or actionable answer. Answers that are vague, unhelpful, incorrect, plagiarized, or generated through AI will not be counted as answers to a user’s total.
• Determining whether a response is officially counted as an answer toward your total is at the discretion of our SEQanswers editorial team.
• Respondents cannot open multiple accounts to create questions for their alternate account to answer questions. Those caught falsifying questions or duplicating accounts will have their accounts suspended and become ineligible for this contest and future contests.
• In the event of a tie, the winner will be randomly selected from the current leaders.
• Finally, SEQanswers reserves the right to terminate the contest for any reason and similarly not award a participant if they are suspected of any misconduct.
