  • velvetg "irregular sequence" error

    Hello,
I've been trying to run velvetg for a de novo assembly project and have encountered an error I haven't seen before. I'm not sure where to start looking to troubleshoot this. Has anyone seen this before?

It looks like you may be re-using the same folder over again for different assemblies and there is inconsistent files in it. Try running velveth + velvetg with a new folder name, or delete the existing folder completely.

      Thanks!

Thanks Torst - changing the folder name solved it.
