    Tapestation HS RNA - additional broad peak?

    Hi all, looking for some advice around RNA samples submitted to our core exhibiting additional broad peak from 200-1000bp.
    I'm thinking its guanidine thiocyanate contamination. Samples are low concentration so appears quite large.

    I've never seen this before so any advice welcomed! Would an additional column clean up work to remove?
    Planning to do Whole Transcriptome Sequencing with these samples.

    To me it looks like degraded RNA (page 4) or low MW DNA contamination (page 6) https://www.agilent.com/cs/library/a...988-7650EN.pdf
