Issue with Agilent 2100 BioAnalyzer HS DNA Assay Trace

Hi everyone,

I have been prepping libraries for low biomass samples and got these results from my most recent chip. DNA was extracted from oral and nasal swabs, and library prep was performed with a NEB Next Ultra II FS DNA library prep kit. Does anyone have an idea on why my 3rd sample is inching up on the Y-axis? I'm aiming for peaks around 300bp, which can be seen in the other samples run here. The problematic trace comes from an oral swab.

Love this - good data definitely starts from good input, and poor input can only give relatively poor data. I particularly like the mention of Nanodrop/absorbance based methods for quantification. It's such a toss up if you'll get an accurate reading or what amounts to a randomly generated number, and a lot of library/sequencing related issues can be traced back to poor quant.
