First time poster here. I'm looking for some help with a Bioanalyzer trace of total RNA with a view to performing 454 sequencing. I've attached the two traces for my samples and I am worried about a shoulder on the left hand side of the 18s peak and whether this could indicated degredation? These are mosquito samples and I have been told the absence of the 28s peak is expected.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
