We currently have a GAIIx but are upgrading to the HiSeq. Today I noticed that the HiSeq library prep kit is over $500 more than the old paired end library kit. Does anyone know what the difference is? Will my old libraries work on the new cBot?

I'm not sure, cause I didn't have much experience in library construction, but there's no big changes between GA2 and Hiseq, just add one flowcell access and more efficient in flowcell itself, so I suppose the old one could be work, not so sure~~ -
They told me the library kits work the same. The cBot cluster kit is different from the old cluster station though (and more expensive, how surprising).Comment
