    Mouse brain tissue prep for ChiP seq

    I am trying to prepare samples for down stream ChiP seq. The problem is that I am using mouse tissue and have trouble preparing the samples as there are few protocols for fresh tissue. My question's are
    1. Do we fix samples before i homogenize the tissue and how
    2. I have used covaris for chromatin shearing but when i am not sure if the SDS in the buffer will affect my downstream sequencing. Without SDS in my shearing buffer (which is same as the covaris kit) i do not see shearing.
    3. What kit can i use for preraring the library if my starting material is too low and the samples further go through sorting to get special neuronal cells.
