We have successfully reduced the volumes of the reagents of the Illumina DNA prep kit to 1/4. We want to further reduce the cost. Is there any way to dilute the reagent (especially BLT beads since the reagent has the lowest volume) instead of further reducing the volumes?

It can be done and dilution factor depends on the quantity of input DNA (if using purified DNA) for up to 3 ng input BLT can be safely diluted 40x. Add water to make up for reduced BLT volume. There is also a preprint: https://www.biorxiv.org/content/bior...79215.full.pdf

Hi, would it be possible to know how? is it accessible.Originally posted by szy0931 View PostWe have successfully reduced the volumes of the reagents of the Illumina DNA prep kit to 1/4. The immune system’s power comes from its genetic diversity, allowing myriad threats to be neutralized through first recognizing foreign antigens. That diversity is also what makes the immune system so difficult to study. Recent advances in sequencing technology and computational biology, however, are giving researchers new tools to understand immune responses and immune-related diseases in greater detail.
This convergence of genetics, immunology, and computation...-
