Tool or package to convert new peptide sequence from frameshift variant?

Are there any tools or R packages for calculating the new amino acid chain, given an indel?

I've been asked to provide a set of putative mutations, along with the novel peptides that result from these mutations. In the case of single amino acid and stop codon mutations, this is fairly easy, but for short indels that produce a frameshift (<10nt), this is non-trivial, for numerous reasons.

I'm currently trying to manually convert the coding sequences, based on the hgvs.c notation that I'm getting from snpEff, but while this seems to work for some, it doesn't seem to match well in other cases.

I would imagine that there is at least one tool for doing this, but all I can find are tools for calculating the hgsv codes, given a mutation, but no easy tool for calculating the resulting peptide.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

16S/ITS Profiling vs. Shotgun Metagenomics: What Changes in Your Workflow?
    by SEQadmin2

NGS has revolutionized clinical microbiology by offering new ways to identify and surveil pathogens without prior knowledge of the target. One popular approach is 16S rRNA and ITS amplicon sequencing, which targets specific microbial markers. But studies are increasingly incorporating shotgun metagenomics, a technique that sequences all DNA from a sample without targeting specific microbial markers. This approach allows more detailed taxonomic classification, detection...

Multiomic Liquid Biopsy: What DNA/RNA Panels Reveal That DNA Alone Can’t

Tumors contain complex mixtures of cell populations that evolve in response to treatment and host-specific factors. Tissue biopsies provide only static snapshots of a tumor’s state. But what if we could follow that evolution over time using a minimally invasive technique?

Liquid biopsies can detect tumor-derived material circulating in the bloodstream, providing a way to study treatment response, detect emerging resistance, and discover new biomarkers. Circulating
