Last chance to register for online RNA-Seq Workshop June 1-4

The Bioinformatics Core at UC Davis is offering our popular RNA-Seq analysis workshop online. Next week, join us for a mixture of lecture-based instruction and interactive course materials that allow participants to gain direct experience with individualized instructor support. Using Zoom and Slack, we’re striving to provide the same level of instruction we’ve offered in person for more than twelve years in a remote format, with hands-on exercises and experienced instructors and TAs.

    Remote RNA-Seq Workshop
    June 1 - June 4, 2020

This remote workshop will include a rich collection of lectures and hands-on sessions with individualized instructor support, covering both theory and tools associated with command-line RNA-seq data analysis. Participants will explore experimental design, cost estimation, data generation, and analysis of RNA-Seq data generated on the Illumina sequencing platform. Participants will explore software and protocols, create and modify workflows, and diagnose/treat problematic data utilizing high performance computing services. Exercises will be performed with provided datasets, using command-line interaction.
