    New to sequencing...

    I have only just started my degree and am having some trouble with my work. I was hoping some of you lovely professionals out there could give me some help?

    Regarding adaptor sequences- how long and how many base pairs make up an adaptor sequence? And if it varies, what is the average length?

    And where can I go to find which adaptor sequence I should/would be using for a specific DNA sample?
