    Hi, one question about RNA-Seq library prep

    Hi all,

    I'm new in this field and want to learn something here.

    I'm doing RNA-Seq library prep, we need to get good libraries from small starting total RNA material. When i tried to use 500ng total RNA to start, i usually couldn't get more than 1ng of purified cDNA. Does anyone have some suggestions on how to get more cDNA?

    Data variability is still an issue in sequencing technologies despite the advances in reproducibility and accuracy of these platforms. But the problem does not originate in the sequencing itself, but in the previous steps, before the sample reaches the sequencer.

    The first step is collection, followed by preservation and sample preparation for analysis. Most scientists overlook those steps, but not being careful might just be skewing the experiment’s results.
