Hello all--
My group is new to using the GS Junior, and I have a couple of software questions.
1- We got our first sequence last week (after months of technical difficulties). We obviously just ran a control (just RSV) and the instrument delivered a sequence which was successfully RSV. However, I was wondering-- does the instrument's software ever say how many replicates it found of that sequence? Or does it just deliver the individual sequences it found?
2-I finished a run yesterday and my control passed. However, it said I have 35 key passes but no sequences. Is there a way to get the raw data from the software? I'm wondering if it saw anything close to a possible sequence and then decided it wasn't anything. I'd like to run a BLAST on it to see what the instrument saw.
Please let me know if you can help me.
Thanks,
Alison
