Hello
i'm sorry if my question will be very stupid... but i'm lost =x
I have my data something like this
Genes Seq.Length Number EST Blastclust 85%
gene A 600 9 0
gene B 1900 1102 7
gene C 3000 520 84
whats the meaning of Blastclust 85%? I know that is a algorithm that agglomerates the ESTs that were generated by the same mRNA... but what is the value of 85%? is it a cutoff? a similarity? and the values below for each gene? the 0 and the 7 and the 84? I trully dont know dont be mad at me... pls give me a hand
